A new tool for an Actor to say Thank You and Network! 


I'm a NYC based actor, and like many actors I know that sending a thank you note/postcard after an audition is a way to set yourself apart in the audition process or reach out to a casting director you want to develop a relationship with. But actually following through to send those cards was a hassle. It was too time consuming, inconvenient and simply got too expensive. But my whole outlook changed about 6 months ago...

I found an ONLINE greeting cards system that allowed me to send a REAL card with my headshot and personalized message inside using the internet. Now instead of taking down info at auditions, writing a bunch of thank yous at the end of the week, addressing, stamping and mailing those cards (which I always forgot to do...) I send a card right from my phone immediately after I finish my audition, even before I change to go home. The card is then printed, stuffed, addressed, stamped (with a real stamp!) and sent out the next morning and all I had to do was click a button. It is so simple and convenient, but best of all it's affordable!

  • The contact manager allows me to not only save addresses, but there is a notes section so I can record what audition I was at and who else was in the room. This way if I sing for them again I have a digital log I can make a reference to.
  • I have uploaded my own handwriting and signature to make my card even more personalized!
  • A professionally printed envelope is more likely to end up on a CD desk than a postcard that an intern will typically throw straight into the trash.
  • Best of all, it works! I have gotten calls off of sending these cards, with a CD asking where I got them printed. Who knows if that call would have come otherwise!
